| Prayers of the Quran |
- So be patient; God’s promise is true. And ask forgiveness for your sins, and proclaim the praise of your Lord in the evening and at the dawn. (The Quran 40:55)
- Our Lord, do not cause our hearts to go astray after You have guided us. Grant us Your own mercy; You are the generous Giver. Lord, You will surely gather all humanity before You upon a day that will indubitably come. God will not break His promise.
(The Quran 3:8-9)
- Whether you speak secretly or aloud, He knows your inmost thoughts. Shall He not know, who created? And He is the Subtle, the All-knowing. (The Quran 67:13-14)
- Lord, in You we have put our trust; to You we turn and to You we shall come at last. Lord, do not expose us to the designs of the unbelievers. Forgive us, Lord, You are the Mighty, the Wise One. (The Quran 60:4-5)
- When My servants question you about Me, tell them that I am near. I answer the prayer of every suppliant who calls to Me; therefore let them respond to Me, and believe in Me, that they may be rightly guided. (The Quran 2:186)
- Our Lord! Send upon us Your mercy, and show us the solution to our problem in the right way. (The Quran 18:10)
- Their light will shine in front of them, and on their right; and they will say, ‘Our Lord, perfect our light for us, and forgive us. You have power over all things.’ (The Quran 66:8)
- Say: ‘My prayer, my worship, my living, my dying are for God alone, the Lord of all Being.’ (The Quran 6:162)
- Say: I take refuge in the Lord of the daybreak: from the evil of what He has created, from the evil of darkness when it gathers, from the evil of conjuring witches, from the evil of an envier when he envies. (The Quran 113:1-5)
- Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and the lack of moderation in our doings. Make our steps firm, and help us against those who deny the faith. (The Quran 3:147)
- Lord, You alone are our Guardian. Forgive us and have mercy on us: You are the noblest of those who forgive. Ordain for us what is good, both in this life and in the Hereafter. To You alone we turn. (The Quran 7:155-156)
- Those who repent, those who serve and praise Him, those who journey in devotion to the cause of Allah, those who bow, those who prostrate themselves in prayer, those who encourage justice and forbid evil, those who keep God’s commandments. So give these glad tidings to the believers. (The Quran 9:112)
- Lord, I stand in dire need of any good which You may bestow upon me! (The Quran 28:24)
- Allah: there is no deity save Him, the Living, the Everlasting. Slumber seizes Him not, neither sleep; to Him belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth. Who is there that shall intercede with Him save by His leave? He knows what lies before and behind all people. They can comprehend only that part of His knowledge which He wills. His Throne extends over the heavens and earth; the preserving of them does not weary Him. He is the All-high, the All-glorious. (The Quran 2:225)
- God does not charge a soul with more than it can bear. It shall be requited for whatever good and whatever evil it has done. Our Lord, take us not to task if we forget, or lapse into error. Our Lord, charge us not with the burden You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, do not burden us beyond what we have the strength to bear. And pardon us, and forgive us our sins, and have mercy on us; You alone are our Protector. And help us against people who deny the truth. (The Quran 2:286)
- Lord, give us patience and let us die in submission. (The Quran 7:126)
- Lord, build me a house with You in Paradise. (The Quran 66:11)
- Say: “He is Allah, One Allah, the Eternal, who has not begotten, nor has He been begotten. There is none comparable to Him. (The Quran 112:1-4)
- God invites you to the Home of Peace, and He guides whomsoever He will to a straight path. (The Quran 10:25)
- And say: “Praise be to God! He will show you His signs and you will recognize them. Your Lord is never unmindful of anything you do.’ (The Quran 27:93)
